Softball Program Information

Five of the major locations in Yellowstone have softball fields. For information on softball fields at a specific location, follow the Outdoor Facilities link.

League Softball is operated every summer. Summer league play begins mid June and continues Monday and Wednesday evenings through July. Playoffs begin in early August. All summer arriving employees who are interested in league softball should visit their location Employee Recreation Office as soon as possible to sign up on a roster. Team rosters for the will be due mid June - don't be late!

Those interested in participating in the Softball, Basketball, or Volleyball Leagues must attend one of the League Sports Meetings.

The Annual Colter Classic One - Pitch Softball Tournament is a fun all day event that brings in teams from all around the park. Grilled food and beverages will be served, team members will be treated with raffle prizes, and the champs will receive custom embroidered baseball caps.
